Thread: How to change web hosts?

Hi,

I do have an existing website, created by a friend, that is now hosted with a Dutch company and a registered domain name
I have downloaded the Web Creator BlueVoda to try to work on it myself.
I'm an absolute beginner but with BlueVoda I might succeed.

Now I have two questions;
Is it possible to work on the site with BlueVoda that has been created with Front Page? Or do I have to start from zero?

How do I change my present web host to Vodahost?

Hi ... you can order a voda hosting account by choosing ORDER NOW from the top menu of this forum. A free domain name is included with every web hosting account purchased from Voda Host. If you already have a domainname you could choose another since every voda hosting account also allows you to have as many domains of your own in the one account or you could also opt in for a domain transfer. A domain transfer is separate from your order and you would do so after you have received your hosting account.

You can copy and paste any work you hagve already done on front page into a blue voda page .. this will help with some material and as you already might know the blue voda software is friendly and easy to use and there is plenty of help here on the support forum ..

There is still something unclear in the option of transferring my existing domain name, which I would opt for.
Do you mean that when I take an account with Vodahost the transfer is made automatically or do I have to contact my present web host for the transfer?

After you signup with us, our domains department will handle the transfer for you free of charge.
