Thread: com or biz name?

Hello,

The domain name I want, XYZ.com is not available. Instead, XYZ.biz is free. What are the pros and cons of registering the biz one? The only one con I can think of is that browsers automatically complete.com when Ctrl + Enter are pressed.

Stick with the .com if you can.........try adding an underscore character between words of your proposed website name, or something similar.

could you tell me that if i want to change my website from www.xxxxxx.com to www.xxxxxx.co.uk would i have to deleted and start my website again

Depends if there is a specific reason for this? You could just have 2 domains with one on a redirection to the other. So! if you was using the .com as your site? You can redirect the .co.uk to that site as well.

You wouldn't have to completely recreate the site if you wanted to stop using the .com and just use a .co.uk, but you will have to check to make sure all of your links are correct (Make sure all are going to the right domain)
