hello, my friend has a domain name with ameritech and it is on a parked page- no web was ever built, he wants me to build the site and buy more name plus keep the one he has, how do i get that name to the web site i wana build and host with you?

I have the same question, i own a domain name, if i use this service can i use my domain? sorry if its a dumb question, just getting this started, i bought the domain a couple of years ago.

Hi, you can either open a Vodahost account & transfer the domain name to to your new VH account & have everything in one place. (This is assuming the domain is more than 60 days old) Or! You can open a VH account & leave the domain where it is at the moment, & with the information that you will receive in your welcome email from VH, you point the domain at the VH servers from where it is at the moment.
