We plan to purchase templates from http://www.vodahosttemplates.com/ But, we do not know what system we should use to modify the templates. Should we use BlueVoda, SohoLaunch, or Frontpage?

It depends what KIND of template you are purchasing. If its a front page template then it will be front page.. if its soholaunch you will need to know soholaunch protocols. If its a blue voda template then you will need blue voda. You cannot mix and match builders.

Well.. your question isnt CLEAR either. If its CSS Flash template you will need a flash editor. If its an html template you will need an HTML editor... if its a BLUE VODA TEMPLATE you will need blue voda.

You cannot edit flash or html templates with blue voda. You cannot use flash or simple html or bluevoda templates with soholaunch.. or zen cart or oscommerce. You also cannot use zen templates with soholaunch or oscommerce and any combo there of.

So.. Let me be CLEAR .. IT DEPENDS ON THE TEMPLATE YOU WANT HOW IT MAY BE EDITED. I cant tell you precisely from the 5000 odd templates presented there.. Id need a SPECIFIC template and what you were trying to do with it to answer you WITH USEFUL INFORMATION.

Blue Voda-Website Builder.. builds and edits only ITS pages
Frontpage-full html editor.. will edit HTML CODED SITES AND PAGES
Soholaunch-ONLINE Dynamic SITE BUILDER.. will not edit TEMPLATES EVEN ITS OWN.. just the pages it generates and its cart

or whatever else if it is another template.
