Thread: DNS, transfer, etc.

What steps do I need to go through to transfer my domain as well as the hosting to BV? Are there a bunch of steps that I have to go through to deal with DNS stuff, WhoIS, etc? I would like a simple and somewhat seamless transfer. I am also being charged by my current hosting service (or somebody) $29.95 a year for a directory listing, is this a necessary charge or can I do away with it altogether?
