    Thumbs up Upcoming customer.

    Hello.

I have been experimenting with your program, BlueVoda, for many days now. I am very pleased with its functions, capabilities, and simple but informative layout. In a rating from 0 to 10, 10 being the highest, I would not hesitate to give BlueVoda a 10.

Not only am I pleased with BlueVoda, I am very pleased with the hosting capabilities. I looked into all of its features, I even read up on them in the forums.

My current website, www.OutwardDesign.com, is hosted by a cheaper company, and well.. lets just say it gets a 0 rating. I have decided to join Vodahost as my new webhost. The only thing I have to clear up before I join is should I cancel my domain, www.OutwardDesign.com, and re-register it with Vodahost,or should I transfer it to Vodahost? The person who actually registered and pays for www.OutwardDesign.com is someone I met online and partnered up with. I am not sure if I should tell him to cancel the website (will it be up for grabs immediately?) or transfer it.

P.S My website layout is not what I wanted, therefore I am not worried about losing any material. I just liked the domain, www.OutwardDesign.com, and would like to get it under Vodahost.

    Talking What To Do

If and when you cancel your web hosting account at your current
company, this should have a 0% impact on your domain name, Your
domain is your intellectual property and is heavily protected by law.

Remember, some domains are worth billions of dollars. for example
google.com has be apprasied at over 20 billion dollars (no joke) those
5 letters are worth more than the country of Liberia.

In a nutshell..this is what you do ( in the exact order)....

    1) Join VodaHost
    2) Put in transfer request at VodaHost Domains
    3) Publish your site

I look forward to having you as a member.

One problem though, I was not the one who registered the domain name. I met up with this guy online, he agreed to pay for the domain/host and build the website. I agreed to do the graphics department on the website. So basicly he is working for me and the domain is useless to him. Is there a way to transfer the domain to my name, or a way to cancel the domain, or should I just get his account/password for it?

    Thanks.

You met a guy online and you want us to help......Hmmmmmm

Your best bet is to follow my above instructions. After you can put in a domain
transfer request, its very simple and straight forward.

One more thing. www.outwarddesign.com.au is a website for a Landscaping company called Outward Design. Would I be breaking any copyright laws by using OutwardDesign.com and calling my company Outward Design? I do not want to get my website copyrighted at the momet, but over the years I might do so.

If it is against the copyright laws and whatnot, I might just be better off naming the website something different instead of transferring.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

I don't know mate. Your better off checking with your solicitor or getting a new
name. The last thing you want with a new business is hassle.

I talked to my friend who registered the old domain, he seemed pretty upset that he wasted money on it. I think we will create a new domain name with Vodahost. I get payed monday so see you then.

Alright. Last thing to straighten up and I will join VodaHost.

I cannot think of a good domain name/company name for my graphics website.

My old name was OutwardDesign. I am thinking of going with OutwardCreation or the same name plural (OutwardCreations). Any idea which one I should use? Or any ideas on a better name?

    Thanks.
