Relevant .com addresses for New Zealand

Hi -I'm a first time user about to try and publish my first Bluevoda website from here in New Zealand. However my site is only relevant to NZ users. Can I get a .com.nz address taht will enable NZ users to use searchwords to locate my site here in New Zealand. The most common one here is .co.nz. Can Bluevoda support this option?

We do not supply free .co.nz domain names, they are controlled and regulated
by the NZ goverment who only want NZ folks to sell them and have them.
The ones we supply for free are the below....

.com / .net / .org / .info / .us/ .biz / .co.uk / .org.uk / .ca /.in /.de

If you really have your heart set on owning a .co.nz domain name, you can
purchase it from a NZ company, after you do this, you can easily point it
to VodaHost so it works on our servers. We will send you full instructions
on how to do this in your welcome letter.

If this is the route you want to go, you must purchase it before you create your
VodaHost account and select Option B on the sign up form.

Unless your business is very NZ specific, I would not get a .co.nz domain.

Thanks for your reply. I'm still not sure exactly how to this forum. I just kept trying different options and this one worked.
My business is very NZ specific. It has to do with housing projects and has absolutley no relevance on the intenational scene.
Are there any fish-hooks I need to be aware of by using Bluevodas server? I really love your software and want to keep using it. Also impressed with the on-line support. Thanks again.

Hi mate, my name is Daniel and ive been using BV for almost a year, there are no problems, their servers are MUCH faster than ANY and EVERY new zealand web-hosting place, and you dont get any problems such as hackers, limited email accounts, or problems with creating Sub-Domains, i advise you use BV instead of a NZ service at this point in time.

Fish hooks are unsuspecting things that catch you out just like a fish if you don't know they are there.
