Hi Vasili

I downloaded flash convertor which I have used to convert AVI to FLV and I can play them on an adobe flash player on my desk top.

My question is how do I get these files onto my site, I read in one of your other posts that flash format was smaller file size and therefore pages would load quicker. I need to add video to many of my pages but am a bit lost as to how to do this.

Any help appreciated.

For me, the easiest way was to create a You Tube account, upload the videos and then copy and paste the html code that You Tube provides into a BV html box and you are done.
Here's an example page.
http://www.usmc-trw.com/vide**.php
The dang censor wont let the URL come through. Click on the link and it will take you to my custom 404 Error page and you can then click on the appropiate link.

No problem, Dave ..... you'll see how easy it is by reviewing the VodaTips created especially for you here >> www.VodaTips.com/steps_using_flash_in_bv.html

And you are right about Flash being a more efficient medium for visitors based on load and crispness, as well as being able to manage completely your entire website on your own reliable servers in your own account...

i was able to get a flash file to play by opening an html box (left column first choice) and copy/paste the html code.
then upload everything to public html
i use camtasia studio by tech smith to convert wmv to flash
camtasia gives me folder with an html file to copy/paste
camtasia is free for 30 days and then it is $300 bucks
but it is way more than just an swf converter and it is the only one i have been 100% satisfied with
i have asked them to make just an swf converter but no avail yet

Hi

I used a flash software called Amara Intro and Banner builder. Think it cost me about $40, so quite cheap. It lets you save your files into swf format once you have built and tested your flash intro.

The link to their site is below.

Thanks
