Thread: wordpress for dummies?

Ola....

I uploaded wordpress via fantastico, no problem. I entered the new address ( different than the solo page - www.estheticarrest.com which is hosted here @ V *now*) ... I have my wordpress control panel up , no problem ...however....when I hit "to preview " instead of going to my different url...it redirects to estheticarrest.com and just shows that page as it is. When I key in the new url...same thing happens.
( I recently re-directed servers at go daddy to vodahost servers for this domain...could that be related? )
I have read all related posts and tutorials here and I can't figure out where I've screwed up.
I'd appreciate any help from the wizards here...

Ok, I'll give it 24 hours -

my *different url* ( as yet unpublished but established in both my vodahost CP and wordpress is postiveaspect.com )

Why this matters escapes me but I defer to better minds than my own.....

It matters because we need to know what you are talking about in order to assist you. You say "My URL does not work". We can not even begin to diagnose a problem (if any) if we do not the url in question.

Information is the key to an answer!
