Hi. I have uploaded a PDF file to my server. Now I'd like to have visitors to my site view the PDF doc. Anyone have advice as to how this is done. (ALSO:I don't know how to get the correct path for it from the uploads section under my blog's hosting account. But I know it is there) Thanks, David |

Insert the link just as you would for a BV page > www.YourBlog.com/article.pdf *Be sure to set the link so a new broswer opens to "download" the PDF. |

sure, it's pretty simple. first name you file small, no caps, no spaces, such as: fileone.pdf then transfer that file from your hard drive to the public_html directory on the server by using the ftp tool - it's just drag and drop procedure. now create a link either text or image on the page of your website and the link should look like this: www.yourwebsitename.com/fileone.pdf save your page and publish it and when some one clicks on the text or image on your website page the pdf file will come up. Now if someone does nothave adobe reader then he will be prompted to download it. hope this helps |
