Thread: Applying New Wordpress Theme

I downloaded a wordpress theme to my computer and tried to follow the instructions for uploading to Cpanel but I am completely lost. Any instructions are appreciated.

Here were the instructions.
You can find additional themes for your site in the WordPress theme directory. To install a theme you generally just need to upload the theme folder into your wp-content/themes directory. Once a theme is uploaded, you should see it on this page.

They make it sound so simple but not to me.

I found my wordpress folder but there was no themes folder so I tried to create one. Not sure what Im doing.

Why did you start another thread when your other has been answered?

The other thread was about installing wordpress (I figured that out) and this one is about downloading a wordpress theme.

You have to do this thru your file manager or ftp client..and you will see your THEMES folder and where to upload things.
