Hi, I encountered a strange thing today. I was trying to modify my .htaccess file, I opened it in Notepad and was in shock to discover it contained NOTHING or at least just this: HTML Code: # BEGIN WordPress # END WordPress If you are wondering if I opened the right htaccess file, i will tell you yes because it is in the same directory with my index file for wordpress. and I installed the Blog in the ROOT directory itself. The site, as I said works just fine, but how can I make changes to the htaccess when there is nothing? How can I remake a new Htaccess based on the specifications of my site. P.S. I made a copy of an old .htaccess (before upgrade) but I am afraid to use it since I don't really know if it will destroy anything...any suggestion, please? Merci beaucoup... Herman |
