Thread: transfering wordpress files

Hi,

I want to create a new blog under a different url but I want to keep my same posts, pages, comments, and content. Im sure there has to be a way to transfer these to another domain without having to copy and pasting everything. Can someone please outline the steps to doing this?

Me again. I want to clarify a little more which might make this easier. Right now my wordpress is under www.1url/myblog but I want it to be under the main domain which would be www.1url.com. So i want to get rid of the "myblog" and make my wordpress theme my main url. So the files are in the same directory, I think.
