Thread: Re-publishing Wordpress After Server Disconnect?

Yesterday, all 3 of my websites went down. The index page on all of them disappeared leaving a list of files and a very long error message when you view the site.

I submitted a support ticket and was told to re-publish my index pages. My html site, Pointe-****-tips.com I was able to do using the Blue Voda web builder tool bar.

The other 2 sites, Pointeshoe.net and Crazy-tshirts.org are Wordpress sites built with Fantastico. I went into C Panel and my Fantastico Icon has disappeared. How will I ever get my sites re-published?

I checked the Wordpress.org forums and there is nothing about re-publishing after a server goes down. I also tried re-publishing them through the Blue Voda web builder, but that caused another error message.

I did send another support ticket. Has anyone ever had the server go down with your Wordpress site, and if so, did you re-publish with Fantastico?

I've lost all my WordPress, Flash, and CMS sites due to the same issue, and am still trying to come to grips with the loss of more than 5 years of work and subsequent ceassation of all business function ...
The "solution" to "simply re-publish your index page" only works for Blue Voda created sites, and not dynamic sites with heavily scripted index pages. It may be possible to restore your account from backups, but only if the backups were made prior to the damage being done ..... make sure there is a clear discernement made prior to any execution of restorative action, though!

Where did the Fantastico icon go? It's no longer in my cpanel and all my sites are down....

Submit a Support Ticket and wait for a personal solution - there is nothing anyone in the Forums can do for you.
