Cannot get to my admin page

Hello Everyone,

I am having trouble getting to my admin page. I downloaded Wordpress and everytime i click the page it goest to my other free site. Here is the link http://bbdestinationexpress.com/blog/wp-admin/ . Anyones help would be appreciated.

do you have vodahost account?
if yes you need to change your dns
because i see your domain is still pointed to another server

Yes I do have one. How do I change my dns? Sorry, I am such a newbie :(.

Yes, I found out what you're talking about now. I did go to my registrar and have the domain name forward to my new id address. It says to allow up to 96 hours for changes to occur. Sometimes it takes less. So when this happens I will be able to see me admin page?

usualy when you purchase domain, it will come with control panel or domain manager. from there you can change the contact address , contact name and also to change the name server/dns of your domain

yes most probably you will be able to access your site

Update: my admin page was working fine but now when I tried my link it gives me this error:

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the ooiroorl_wrdp1 database.

Are you sure it exists?
On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem

I checked my database and everything is still there. Any ideas?

not anything, I didn't mess with it i promise. What do I need to do?

Help Lt. General, I see the file uploaded in my ftp. How can I get it back to the database?

Is this the database string you're talking about? It is still there:

I really do not know what you did, what file did you upload to your ftp?
The best bet (what I would do) is...

1) Edit your config.php file with your database inforamtion.

or if that does not work...

2) Do a fresh install and use the previously created database.

Ah hah! I took your advice and reinstalled. I noticed I had a message in my cpanel to update the wordpress. After re-installation I was able to get to the login. Hope this clears it up. Thanks.
