  • Re-publish trouble

Hi. I already published my page and its working fine. But, now when I try to add or change something the program asks me to save the changes and to write another name to that page before I can publish it again (for example the index page, now is index2). So I am having a duplication of pages any time I need to add something. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Besides that, I have many pages that I would like to eliminate and I don"t know how to delete them. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Re: Re-publish trouble

I'm not sure if you are referring to your bv folder on your computer,
or the public_html folder on the server.
When you save a page, you are saving to Blue Voda on the computer.
Mine is in 'my documents, BlueVoda'. If I go to that folder, I can delete
any file by selecting it and right click and delete. Also, I did have
the problem you are talking about where it didnt want to save my page.
I just went in to the folder, deleted 'index' and then saved. (make sure
index is open in bv before deleting it ). Once it is properly saved, then
publish. Now, go to 'tools' , 'ftp manager' and select 'connect' at the
top left. A window will open on the right showing all files in the public_
html folder. You can go through these and when you find one to
get rid of, just select it and right click and delete. Just be careful.

    Hope that will help.
