  • Huge Font Issue

    Hi.....

On my main page, my name is with the font "Broken 15". www.gabrielteran.com . Still I can't see my site so I'm dealing with the support people, they told me they can see my site, and then they send me a Still Frame of the Front page of my site........and THAT'S WHEN I JUST FREAKED OUT. The font is completely different. Now it's EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR ME TO HAVE THE FONT I ADDED BECAUSE I'M A VISUAL ARTIST AND THAT'S REPRESENTING ME. HAVING OTHER FONT IT'S NOT ME. DOESN'T WORK AT ALL.

    How do I solve this...

    Re: Huge Font Issue

    You cant solve it :)

    search this forum for fonts

you can see the font because it is installed on your pc.. the rest of us cant see it because we dont have that particular font installed.

that is why most websites that you will see use the same fonts. do a search on this forum then do a search on the net for websafe fonts

    hope that helped tero

YYYEEESSSS...... I just thought a way to do it.

I will do the text with combustion, and then I will export it as a jpg.

Then I will import it on my main page........ I'm pretty sure it will work.

      Let's see it later.

Its not a voda problem... its just a regular rule in web design my friend... if the fontisnt instaled on my pc, i cant see it and it will be replaced with an alternative one. Thats what happend when they took a screen shot and sent it too you. The font you used wasnt installed so it was replaced with an alternative.

The safest ones to use are Arial and Verdana They are standard fonts that are installed on all PC's

Yes, that will work, thats how on most sites you can get a header and banners in a flashy font style because they have been drawn and added as a JPG. The only thing to be careful of is that having too many JPG on the screen will increase the loading times of each page.

              Re: Huge Font Issue

Save as both .jpeg and .gif, you might find that for your header *.gif is more versatile and will allow for a transparent background, *.jpeg will not.
