Hi, does anyone know how to get the likes of google, yahoo search engines to direct people to your website should they be searching for something which is on your website? Thanks.

Hi *****,

Yep, my site is up and running. Its mainly for personal use at the moment (a competetion I am running between mates - the Premiership Prediction part), but am looking to expand in the very near future.

Take a look (http://www.ragingmonkies.co.uk)

Cheers.

There numerous ways of getting your site listed on any search engine. What I did was downloaded several seo or search engine opitmizers on a trial basis. Most of these programs will allow you to submit your site to about 50 search engines at once. Seo programs are very useful to have but do not go out paying hundreds of dollars for these programs it is not needed. Instead be patient. My site was listed on yahoo, google, alta vista and alot of others within a month. Make sure you fully understand the seo program and how it works. The use of meta tags and site description is very important. Also for ranking your page has to be robot friendly so say yahoo can rank your page according to content. This is a huge subject. Pet121
