  • Re-form tutorial

    Hi everyone
I have been building my site gracie-mae.co.uk for a few weeks now and have only published a few of the pages.
In the form tutorial it says not to publish the action.php to the same directoryas the contact page.
I just published all my pages the same way,I assume the action.php is in the same directory as my other pages.
    How can I check this?
How do I publish to a different directory?
I have used the form in its present place but want to know if it will cause problems in the future.
    thanks

    Re: Re-form tutorial

I believe the tutorial says that you must publish the action.php to the same directory. If it doesent- please cut and paste what you are refering to so that it may be corrected.

Your main directory is the public_html which comes up by default when you click publish. If you haven't changed this- then you can be certain that all is published in that directory.

Lets say you created a folder on the server named files. That now is a subdirectory. To upload or publish to that directory you would add /files on to the default public_html. So it would look like this:
    public_html/files

When you click publish- it would be placed in that folder.

    Hope that helps some.
