  • Verticle Text

    A long time ago I posed this question and there was no answer to it;

    Is it possible to have text displayed verticle instead of horizontal?
    I found out how to do it. So if you need text to run verticle (one letter centered and on top of the other) here is how to do it.

    First- determine the lenght of the word(s) that will be presented verticle. For instance- VERTICLE is 8 characters long. Open a table and set the # of rows to 8 and #columns to 1 and border size= 0. Now- if you wish the word to be read from bottom to top- click on the bottom cell. Use the align tool and center and then type in V. Now go to the next cell up and repeat for each letter! Simple. Now move to where you wish it to be displayed!

    It took me forever to figure this out and it was right under my nose all the time. Recalling many sites that I have seen created with BV- I cannot recall any that have made use of Verticle text.

    Hope that helps someone out there!!

    Cheers,

    Andy
