Help with page update

I am experiencing a problem with updating a page on my webiste www.fitlink-u.com that is in a "members only" area. I believe I follow the proper steps in edit pages, then save and then preview everything looks great. I then previewed my website through the control panel and everything looked great. When I went to view the site after logging out of the sohoadmin, the page did not reflect any of the updates I had made.

Please help, I only have a few strands of hair left.

I think you are getting a view from cache, refresh, clear cookies, reboot if necessary and look again.

Thanks for the reply, but it did not help. I followed your directions and had the same results. I believe I am just going to create several separate pages that I won't have to update because my students need to be able to see the updated materials.

Again, thanks for the suggestions. I have been saving the pages both on the edit page and on the prompt when I exit the area. I have developed three more pages and saved them and they are not showing up either. I downloaded and ran window washer but to no avail.

My hair is growing thin - any more suggestions?

From your first post saying it is a page in a "members only" area, I would say you are not publishing to the correct directory, you will need to publish this to that directory, not just your public_html directory .... whatever the directory is called that has your "members only" area is where you would need to publish your changes .... e.g. public_html/membersonly

hmmm Bob ... I have not used soho ... I would think it would be the same ... it would not hurt to try that until someone else come along and could help you out better .... sorry, I didn't realize it was soho ....

Me thinks maybe you answered your own question. You have to go to your site and sign in to see the changes. If you update, you would need to exit kill the cookie, dont have it open anywhere, then go back to your site, sign in and look again.

Or email someone a sign in to go peek. Im betting when you clear your cookies you still have a copy of that page open or minimized when you go look.
