  • go to next image with arrows

    hi there,
on my website i have to click on the image to see the next one.
It would be far more nice if you could click on an arrow left or right and see in the same time 1/18, 2/18 images... without leaving the page.

Otherwise people don't know where the end is to the images...

I tried it before but i could manage it only by making all the time new pages...

    Does anyone knows?

    here's the link to website

Re: go to next image with arrows

why not just do a copy of the pages then change the pic in each then use pic of an arrow in b.v then create a link to the next page , if you use the duplicate feature in b.v there should be no change wotsoever except the pic, this is the only way i can think without using an album

Re: go to next image with arrows

            hi Panayiotis,
i've used the gallery tool in the overview page and
on the index page i've used iframes, each iframe refer to a page with images and i placed bookmarks on the images. so then you will have to make a link between the bookmark and the next image.

            Good luck!!

Re: go to next image with arrows

Hi, I can get this to work with iframes. Have a look at the link below.
You may have to turn the music off on this page on the pop up.

But not sure how to auto change the large image when the small one changes? This part you may not want anyway.
              Regards Chris.

Re: go to next image with arrows

Hi, the small flags are just one page with flags spaced a centimetre apart with arrows/hyperlinks & book marks going up & down the page & placed in an iframe.
The lager flag is another frame linked from which ever flag is in the small frame.
                  Regards Chris.

                    Hi,
                    Thanks for the link.

I had a look at the link and it is something like this I am looking for.
I am not sure though how you got it to work. Can you pls explain a little more in detail?

Re: go to next image with arrows

Hi, we need 2 html pages for this & all your larger images FTP up to your server. Make sure these are all about the same size as the larger of the 2 frames on page 1.

                      Page 1.
                      1. Create a page & call it ???? frames
                      2. Click on the inline frame & place a small frame on the page for the thumbnails to show.
                      3. Double click on the frame & give it a name ??? f1 & in the url http://www.yoursite.com/frame_inserts.html
                      4. Now repeat 2 & 3 for the next larger frame and name it ???? f2 but with the url of your 1st large image. http://www.yoursite.com/first_large_image.jpg
                      5. On both the above I would select Scroll bars to Never & un-tick the show boarder.
                      Save page.

                      2nd page.
                      1. Create a new page & call it ???? frame_inserts
                      2. Select the images you want & place them in the order you want down the left hand side about 3-4 cm apart vertically. (I have assumed you have already made a batch of thumbnails of the lager images you want to show)
                      3. Now place your arrows above each image (one left & one right)
                      4. Go to insert & select bookmarks & place a bookmark inline horizontally with each of the images arrows
                      5. Now hyperlink these bookmarks together. IE: 1st top right arrow will be h/linked to bookmark 2 & the second arrow down on the left, will h/link to Bookmark 1. And so on with all thumbnail images & arrows.
                      6. Any of the images you want to show in the lager frame, just click on the thumbnail image & select link. We will now link the thumbnail to the large image & tell it to show in the lager frame.
IE: http://www.yoursite.com/first_large_image.jpg & in the target field type f2. This is where the larger images are
to show when you click on the thumbnail.
NOTE: on the 2nd page do not center in browser.

Once you have done this with all the images. (Publish the 2nd page). Now press preview for the 1st page & hopefully all is working. If so publish this page as well.

                      Good luck.
                      Regards Chris.
