View Full Version : H1 and H2 Headline Text "Where'd they Go"

Anyone know how I put in a H1 headline text.... and where exactly would I put it?
I also need to know where to put my H2 headline....
If I have these placed at the back so the human eye cannot see them would the spiders still see them and what are the consequences of hiding them...
I understand that certain search engines give these a reasonably high degree of relevance, but I don't really want to change my design... Any Help would be good...

If you hide any text from people, the se's will see that's what you're doing and you can (and should) get banned.

Use the html box to add h1 headlines.

And a design is only good if SEO has been taken into consideration all the way through the process.

Hi Bethers
Thanks for that, what script would I put in the box..
would this be ok...
<center><h1><font face="verdana" size="3" color="FF99FF">Whatever the headline is</font></h1></center>

and I would do the same for H2's H3's etc

Yes that would work fine- selecting whatever size and font and color you want, of course. Also, you don't have to center them - that's a choice you can make based on your site, also.
