leaseown.org site- How do you make your site accessible only to people with correct name and password while finishing the site? Then when site is finished, make it public.

I'm sure someone will tell you how to do that - but - if you don't put the url anywhere - like you just did here - no one (including se's) will find it. :)

However, the sooner se's find it - the sooner you'll be able to start seeing traffic from them when you're ready.

Click how to password protect a directory found in the link here in my signature ... you will be wanting to password protect your entire public_html folder until you decide you want the public to view it, then you would remove the passwording, etc.
