Can you say what type of image it is? BV doesn't support .png - so that might be the reason?

It`s a JPEG. And I changed it to a GIF but it doesn`t work. It`s ok when I put it in Blue voda, but after publishing it`s allways a red cross.

How is this image named? And if this is published, can you give where - I'd take a look at it and see if I can find a problem.

Are you actually inserting the image on the page you are building and publishing the page? ftp does not publish them ....

the name of the image has a little squiggly over it, forgive me, I do not know what that is called right at this moment, perhaps that is the problem, rename the image just even 123 or something and see if that makes a different, reinsert the image again on your page and republish the page ....

Thanks very much. I renamed and it worked. Thought I had made it already, but perhaps I didn`t. Thanks again.

Great to hear that worked Fernando ... those little squigglies can be bothersome at times, .... good job!!

Hello everyone! I'm new to Voda Host and this is my first message in this forum. I've only been a member for two days and I'm amazed at how helpful everyone is.

I, too, have a problem with images. I'm attempting to use a Windows Meda Player video as the background on one of my pages, and I want to add images and text to the page while the video is playing. Is that possible? Forgive me, but I have limited computer know-how and I want my pages to have text and movement. Can someone help me?

thanks a bunch,
Rhoda
