Sending e-mails automatically

I have a Perl script (a classified ads programme) which when run automatically sends out notification e-mails to the advertisers to tell them when their advert is about to finish, etc.

This results in somewhere between 100 and 200 emails being sent out one after the other. This only happens once a day.

Is this allowable on your servers??

Any more than 100 emails per hours are automatically blocked.
