upload and edit videos

I know I read some very useful advice recently on how to easily download my videos onto my website. Also, please let me know how to edit my video, because I only want to use certain parts of it.

Take a look at the thread in this forum titled "Making movie clips run instantly". We have done a bunch of video and this works for us.

As far as editing video - I use Pinnacle Studio 11 to edit and produce videos - it's pretty easy to learn and use. Not super expensive, but a good investment if do a fair number of videos.

I do most editing with windows movie maker. let's you cut,splice add audio. Bout everything but make a raw movie.

I like windows movie maker too ... the only thing is, it won't accept the .mov file format that is the output of my digital camera ... so I firstly have to convert it, and that meant I had to purchase a converter.
