unexpected file format, re download BV?

If possible could you tell me how to download BV. I know this sounds a silly question but will I have to go through everything from the start.
I am having a problem with opening BV, well my web pages anyway, that need updating.
I have also lost BV in my desktop.
Actually, I lost my web pages, site, last week and when I typed in my web address, I got a page with my address at the top and a picture with poppy's and other cake web site addresses.
I got a support ticket and they said the next day that it was OK, when I looked the day after it was back. Very strange.

I am now trying to publish my pages but it is now saying that the password is wrong, it's what I used before. Will it have changed?
The password is now also not letting me into CP either and it was set in remember password and username, so was correct at some point.
