Could you feel and big difference in Vista while compare it with Windows XP ?

Hi all,
Could you feel and big difference in Vista while compare it with Windows XP ? I heard Vista provides good graphics.and require high confiquration ,.I want to know other than Graphics what is the special in Vista than XP..If you have any information please Share here
