I have named home page as "index" have published it. received notification of a successful publish. When i type my URL into browser, I am told that Internet Explorer is unable to Locate.

I did a search for that domain name and it showed available. Have you purchased it? Do you have a VH acount? If you purchased it, have you pointed the name servers to VH? If it was a recent purchase, it might still need to propagate.

I have 2 other websites (1 Soholaunch) and have purchased the domain through BV over a month ago

I suggest you put in a support ticket and check on the domain name- or go into your account and find it there.

As I said, when I check, I show that domain name still available for purchase.
