  • Tools for checking backlink?

There are a lot of tools for checking backlinks available on the web.
But so far all the tools I have used show much less links I really
have. I know I have links from my other sites, blogs. But most of them cannot be detected by these tools. When you do link exchange with other sites, you want to monitor the link status.

Can somebody tell me a good backlink checking tool which can show the link status accurately?

    Hey,

just saw your post now ... I have had exactly the same question! I know I have a lot more links than indicated by a few "Backlink Analyzer" software - alas, I dont know the answer either! Just thought I'd let you know you arent the only one! LOL.

I wonder if any anyone knows ... ?

    Anyway, cheers

          Re: Tools for checking backlink?

Thank you Marincky. I have used tools from iwebtool.com. They have some good tools for other things, but not for backlinks. I have some links from my own other websites for over a month. They are not detected by iwebtool.com.

I guess most of these tools use the commond "link:yourdomainname.com" to check each major search engines. But major search engines detect and show backlinks for a site very slow. It may take months for a backlink to show at a search engine. When you do a link exchange, you want to know who add or drop a link to your site in a matter of hours or at most a day or two.

Many SEO tools (free or paid) claim they can show backlink change instantly. I have not found one yet from over a dozen of SEO or backlink checking tools (free or trial version of paid tools).
