  • Question for the UK people =)

I'm trying to decide whether I should add item prices listed on my site in a currency for people from the UK (in addition to US and Canadian). I've noticed a HUGE UK presence on the web.

Sooo... my "dumb American" question is this:
Do those in the UK use only Pounds or do they also use Euros?
I was thinking of adding Euros pricing if it caters to more people than the pound... but I don't want to steer people from the UK away if the Euro is not a familiar enough currency.

    =P Please don't laugh! =P

    Thanks for the help-

Well, if you are aiming for the UK market you would probably want to go with the pound, they don't use Euros

Seconded. I'm from the UK and I know roughly how many $ to the £, but nothing about euros! Ignorant lot we are!

              Julie,
in most cases You couldn't buy bubble gum with the euro, if I were you I'd use the good old fasion (£)
