  • Appearance of Published Page

I just published my first page. The last letter (y) of my last lame, on the upper right, is cut off. If I go into the text box in BV and place a space after it, it then does not look right-justified.

Would someone take a look and let me know how you see it and if you have any ideas?

    Also, general feedback is welcome!

    Thanks so much.

    The y is cut off

Drag the text box on the right side larger

This happened to me when I made something italic

I just tried doing that, but the text was dragged right with the box.

O.K., I just re-published, and I think the problem is fixed. I went into the text box and centered instead of right-justifying. Then, I just moved the text box over and aligned the text by sight.

Thank you for looking. I'd still welcome any general feedback. Thanks!

It will be a nice looking and interesting site.

That problem text box: Here is a trick. Type a space after the text, then also type a full stop (.). Then highlight the fullstop and make it white (same as background).

I don't know if this will effect the rearch engines negatively or not.

But what you have done with centre align is also right. I have used that most of the time.

Never thought of trying something like that! Very clever!

            Thank you for your comments.

It looks really great and really professional

I'm not sure if I would use the red on the rollover on the menu bar
You might want to make it look like it indents

Just a personal taste thing though

                Pennie,

I would LOVE to indent instead. How do I do that? I just checked my page in BV, and don't see that option.

                Thanks!

                  Re: Appearance of Published Page

Instead of using individual buttons, you may consider using a Navbar (Navigation button on the toolbar). Once created on the page, double-click it and open the Style tab. Ther you will see Image normal and Image Mouse over.

                  I hope this helps.

                    Hi Tom,

Help! I can't find the Navbar icon in the tool bar. I find the Fixed Menu Button icon, only.

By default just under the lightbox and logo buttons. Left of screen.

Or open View menu, then Toolbars. Toggle the Extra Tools toolbar (off and on) and you will see where it is.

If that does not work, make sure you have the latest version of BV.

                        Thanks, Tom.

I double clicked on my nav bar, clicked on the style tab and got the drop-down menu for the mouse over, but I still don't see the "indent" option instead of a mouse over color.

                            Re: Appearance of Published Page

I have watched the tutorials, including this one, several times. Apparently, I am being very obtuse about this, but I truly do not see where to make the buttons indent, and the tutorial does not address it. Thank you for being patient, and if you could extend it a little further to walk me through this, I'll really appreciate it. I don't know what I'm missing.

                            Thank you.

There is no indent button you have to pck a rollover image (after you double click) that looks as if it indents
