"email this page to a friend" button HELP!

i want to insert a "email this page to a friend" button. once i insert the button, i right click and go to Properties, go the the Link Tab, and choose "mailto" as the link type. what should i write in the URL box?
How does this work? the person wanting to refer a friend through that button will be able to send the link of the page they just visited? im lost here. i dont know how this works and i need some coaching.

Hi, the only thing I can suggest here is to get the buttons url or make a button as an image & where I have written in the script “your image url go's here” put url of the image of the button there.
To try & mix this with the BV’s code is beyond my scope, but maybe another member might know. But the above will work.
