  • New Web Site

I am helping my mom with her online business, and I created a one-page site to simplify things. It is really a place to links to all her other Web sites. I didn't see the point in reinventing the wheel and making new Web pages, but I am wondering if I should. Take a look at it and tell me what you think:

    Re: New Web Site

Hi, I'm not very long in the website business, but when I looked your your mothers websites, it seems that she is using subdomains or something for all the sites, each with their own index page.

To access them from your new website makes it a bit easier, but I find it very annoying clicking Back to go back to your new site from where I can get to the other sites as well.

I would personally have gone for a single website and each e-book or software on pages in the one site. This will make navigation much easier and and that should invite your visitors to come back again and again.
    Bless you
    Tom

To add to what Tom said ... you might want to think about at least putting a link back to the home page on the original site or opening these pages in a new window ... otherwise you lose you visitors .... keep up the good work ...

Hi, the site looks fine. Couple of things that maybe worth a look at.
Your magnoliacropped image is about 1.5meg & really bogging the page down on loading, can give this one bellow a try it’s about 4kb.
Might be a tactic? But might it be worth putting a smaller version of the dropdown menu on all pages, or even a link back to the home/menu area?

Was getting a 404 at this link http://www.bigleagueplayersclub.com/...8975/index.htm

        Regards Chris.

Thank you, Tom. Having all of the pages on the Web site itself is a future goal of mine.

I put links back to the home page on all but three of the sites because the reseller's system would not let me change the template. For those, I changed them in the menu so that they will open in a new window.

Thank you for modifying my image. I replaced it, and the site loads faster now. I also replaced the broken link. See my reply to whiteshepherd about everything else.

Didnt take the time to see if others mentioned it but you have two banners out of no where at the bottom and right.

I joined the affiliate program and added those banners. I was hoping that sticking them in odd places would attract attention to them. Bad idea, huh?
