View Full Version : Advanced Form Setup Problem - No email

Howdy peeps,

I installed ABVFP and went through the set up process without many problems. I adjusted my form to work with advfp and it seems to work fine and goes through to the 'thanks' page BUT I am not receiving any emails.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm out of ideas!

Hi James,

some ISPs block emails. I suggest that you try it with a different email address, possibly in your own domain or a gmail address which usually accepts all emails. Also check your spam folder.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

I set up an email account in my domain but the email still isn't getting through.

Every time I test the form I get two emails in my initial domain account that say the message failed to send due to 'no recipient address' or 'domain is unfound'. I think I may have messed up the form set up somewhere!

I can't know about that. Log in in your ABVFP CP and check to see if you have correctly provided your new email address.

Ahh... that was it! Thanks alot Naval, it's working at last!

On a side note, I'd actually forgotten to delete the original basic php from the thank you page as well.

*sigh* But I got there in the end!
