  • One Flash plays, two do not!

    Hi Guys!
Here I am, months later, with Flash issues again! This is what I've done:
    Created 3 Flash shows.
Uploaded the swf and flv files to FTP
    All are also in CP
Chose swf in the browse option an all 3
All other settings in each box are the same

And only one of them plays when I click on the menu. Go figure...

    Obviously, I'm missing something, somewhere!
    Any ideas appreciated!
    Debi

PS, have not published yet. If it doesn't work in preview, it ain't gonna work on the site ;)

Boy was I wrong! Published, and, Voila! Good to go.
Soooo....Just because it won't work in Preview, doesn't mean it doesn't work...

Exactly. Sometimes your internet explorer just blocks it or it just depends what you've got on that page that will only work online.

        Nonsense!
More like your cache is conflicting with loading new pages, and in Preview, too many safeguards are built-in to make it a natural process.

Flash, Swish, Java, and other dynamic mediums are not confined by "browsers" (including IE7/Vista), only the ability to load (mostly connection or RAM issues) and display (updated plug-ins, viewer version, etc.).
