  • Editing HTML in form

    Hi
    My site is www.rvhliversupportgroup.co.uk.

    I have incorporated a contact form and am now working on the Thank You page. However, I have made a mistake which I am having trouble rectifying.

    I have put in the appropriate code:

    <?PHP
    $mailto = "youremail@yourdomain.com";
    $email = $HTTP_POST_VARS['email'];
    if ($email == "") {
    $email = $mailto;
    }
    $mailsubj = "Type your mail subject here";
    $mailhead = "From: $email\n";
    reset ($HTTP_POST_VARS);
    $mailbody = "Values submitted from web site form :\n";
    while (list ($key, $val) = each ($HTTP_POST_VARS))
    {
    if ($key!="submit")
    {
    $mailbody .= "$key : $val\n";
    }
    }
    mail($mailto, $mailsubj, $mailbody, $mailhead);
    ?>

    In the $mailto do I put my original allocated webmail address which is myusername@miscarriage-ni.org.uk ?

    Does it matter what goes in the
    $mailsubj field ?

    Finally, in the
    $mailbody="Values submitted from web site form :\n";

    But I did not make the changes required in the blue text.

    If I try to edit it now all I can do is COPY or SELECT ALL.

    Is there a way out of this?

    Thanks

    Re: Editing HTML in form

    Open your Thank you Page. If you have pasted the script in the page html, click on the same tag you pasted. if not sure which one it was, try first Start of Page, then Between head, etc, until you find it. When you do, it will appear in the LOWER window. There, you can edit as required.

    Email address: that should be the email address where you wish to recieve the mail. It is NOT necessary that you use your account default email address.
