I already have on my desktop a pdf file. I wish to transfer that pdf file to a web page, which I have not as yet set up. My question is: Can I transfer the file, and how? Thanks

Idk if Im supposed to be bringing up old posts, but is there anyway we can view our pdf files without visitors downloading on our site? if I even said that correctly

Or, if you want your .pdf file be displayed in a window within a page of yours, like this one,

http://www.alfil-sa.com/atlas_fade-ometer_ci3000+.php

Try this:
1. Upload the .pdf file as explained above
2. Within BV, create the page as .php.
3. Insert an HTML box with the size you wish
4. In the HTML box properties copy this text:

<embed src="http://www.yoursite.com/folder/myfile.pdf" width="NNN" height="NNN"></embed>

where NNN is the size, in pixels, of the box.
5. Save and publish as usual.

(Note: This method is not original of mine, but copied from posts by LadyEye and others. I thank them this way)
