hyperlink to password folder

hi, my domaine is www.eyeonyouinvestigations.net. I've ceated a password protected folder in my public_html folder that I want to be accessable to a certain attorney. My questions is how do I creat a link on my Attorney's page for him to click on and enter his password for access. My thought is I put the case number on the attorneys page and hyperlink it to the folder. will this work and if so when I hyperlink do I make it a "file" "http" or what. Could someone please walk me through this part. Thanks, Brad

hi again. I don't want to waste your time so I wanted to let you know that I figured out the answer to my first question. I click on the case # and the password box opens up. I enter the password and the file opens up. "Great". Next problem. I close out of the web page but when I come back to it and click on the file # it opens without a password box. I need this folder to require a password everytime it's clicked on. These are some sensitive documents and have to be protected. Appreciate your help again. Brad

It will require a password if you close your browser or if the session last too long. It will NOT ask for a password during the same session (from the same computer, without closing your browser)

Thank you once again, I'll have to let the Attorneys know that this info is not open in anyones browser but theirs. Brad
