  • Publishing a page

I went to update my order form page, made the changes, saved the page, published the page, yet when I go to the site via the web it did not change. I went back into the page, opened it and then previewed it and it has the changes that I made. Why does it not change on the web?

    Please help.

    Re: Publishing a page

    Hi,

I am not a wizz kidd in this field but I find that due to our computers having a cache memory the old information remains current to your own screen until you utilise your refresh button.

Alternatively you can press F5 a couple of times which seems to have the same effect.

These two tips sometimes work for me - I hope it helps
    Kind Regards
    Rob

The tried that and it still does not work, plus I have a laptop that I log onto the website and it does not have the new updated page. For some reason the publishing is not going though. When I try to update other pages it works, but not on my order form page. This page has been up and running for month, I've made changes to it with no problems.

          Re: Publishing a page

          Hi,

Open Blue FTP and goto public_html/
Search for the html file of the page that you originally published.
It should have a browser icon "[IE] name of your page.html"

Delete this original file and republish again.
