Menubar in I-Frame

Hi --

I inadvertently posted this question in Blue Voda Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts and it really belongs here! I followed the directions for a "Menubar in I-Frame" for my Navigation Bar. I did the same thing for my menu bar (text on bottom) as I did for my nav bar (graphic/text on left). The nav bar works great but the menu bar does not. Any ideas as to my problem???

Hi, your new bottom navi bar (http://www.dpccrazycrafts.com/menubar.html) wants to be positioned in the top left hand corner on the page that it is made on & re-published. Then just place the ifame that will call for this page at the bottom of the page you want it to show on.
You would actually be better using the Naval .php method for this as it’s a lot more SE friendly than using iframes.

Thanks, that did solve the problem. Now, on to the next question. How/where do I find the "Naval .php method"? My purpose, for using a menubar is for SE optimization and if I can do it better I'd like to know!

Hi, iframes are great for certain things like the odd image gallery or none important things. But the SE's have problems seeing whats on the iframe page as it is actually another page & not the one that it is looking at. So the only thing that the SE will see is the link to that iframes page.
With the .php method (at this link) the SE's can see the whole page.
Only a personal view, but i have found it easier to make a template of all the common elements that would be on most pages & split this template into 3 areas/pages by removing all the elements not needed for each page.
You will see what i mean if you go down this route.
