We are in the process of changing index.html to index.php to our website www.daytradingshares.com. We would like to know the Impact of changing index.html to index.php.

There will be no impact to the se's if that's what you mean. The index page will be read the same. However, if you change internal pages, those will look as new - and there can be an impact. You would want to do redirects from the .html interior pages to the new .php pages.
