OsCommerce checkout process is to long

My OsCommerce checkout is fine, but it takes a long time for people to pay for stuff. they have to register first etc. The result is that people might give up half way. Can I shorten the checkout process by e.g. forgoing the registration?

You can contact osCommerce and ask them if they have any custom
modules, but one way or another, they are going to have to give you
there details.
