Is there a button to press for this? We run a fishing resort and I want previous customers to be able to give a testimonial of their stay here for others to see. I would like customers to be able to add their testimonial to others, etc. Hopefully this makes sense. Is there a way to do this on Voda or ??? Thanks for your help!!!

    Re: Testimonial page

Hi, you might be better adding another email form to your site & putting them up manualy. The only reason for this? is most would use a guest book of which there is one in BV & many free ones out there on the net. But they keep getting people leaving links to lots of unwanted porn & sites & similar types of sites. You might find one out there that lets you VET the messages before they are posted.

Thanks Chris. I would not have thought of others using it....not sure how to go about that but I will work on it.

      I appreciate the reply.

        Re: Testimonial page

Most testimonials come from people emailing you or writing you - and then you use what they say. Just remember, you MUST keep the original email and/or letter to use it - and I don't recommend using peoples full names unless you get their permission. And while you can use part of a testimonial, you can't change what they say.

          Re: Testimonial page

Good advice Beth. I think I will just do it that way. I saw a "testimonial' page on one of our competitors and thought it might be a good idea. But, too many possible downfalls I guess. I agree with using only a first name and perhaps place (province/state or general area, no addresses). Never thought of keeping the orginal message/letter. Good idea.

            Re: Testimonial page

I agree with Beth on that one. I have a links page in which I have links to web sites of other people in related fields or clients that I have done work for. I have made sure that I have permission to use them before I post them. For me, in part, it serves as a reference list, without saying here are my references. I have a bunch that I want to post, but it takes so much time to contact etc. And there is always the possibility that they come back and say please, do not link! Have a great day!
