  • Music (mp3) files play on browser but not on web

I have six BV Windows Media Players on my music page, each loaded with one mp3 file which I uploaded into a music folder in my main BV folder.
The files play in browser mode OK but not when I open my website,
    gabor-music.com.
    Someone to help?

Also I noticed that in v3 mode my root directory is empty. In v2 it's alright.
    What gives, please?

    Thanks,

    Gabor

    Hi Gabor
Two of your players appear for me on your web site … And… If you place about 3 seconds of empty frames to the beginning of the each song. Your songs will not abruptly stop playing as the song loads. They will load and play at the same time.. For your visitors…. Hope That Helps… Doug

      Thanks, Dougnez,

What do you mean by "placing 3 seconds worth of empty frmes in the beginning of each song"? How do I do that?

      best regards,

        Hi Gabor
I’ve found that placing 3 seconds of silence (no recorded music) at the beginning of a song, helps prevent Windows Media Player from stopping abruptly. Doug

          Dougnez,

          Now, it's clear.
The funny thing is, that those files were edited for CD (no silence at the front and at the end).
I do have a set that has the three-seconds silence at both ends.
          We'll see it it works.

          Thanks a lot!
