View Full Version : I'd like a "Comment Bulletin Board" on multiple pages...

I have an art gallery and I'd like for visitors to have the option of leaving comments on each page of my wesite. And I'd like for the comments to stay viewable by the next visitor. A good example of such a thing can be found on Elfwood: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/j/s/jsun/dements_drawing.jpg.html

Any clue or directions to point me in the way I should go would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

You will need to use some sort of dynamic scripting language to do that such as php. If you go to www.w3schools.com or www.phpfreaks.com, you can learn the basics and advanced coding. What you want is relativly simple to do, but will take some time to learn how to do. You will need to have your pages in the .php extension, and will need to either use a .txt document or a mysql database to store the comments

That's exactly what I need! Thanks! I mostly just needed the commneting option so that users can comment on my art but with this application I can allow them to post their own work as well! This is great! Thanks to the best administrator in the World!
