Can't view the published subfolder page in internet

Dear VodaHost,

I have successfully published my subfolder in the public folder. (for example: public_html/thankyou)

Enquiries:
(1) When I key in the full URl address of the subfolder in the internet(http//:www.infiniteinternetsales.com/thankyou), what I see is as below instead of what I have published. So did I do anything wrong or did I miss out in any steps? What should I do next?

(2) I am still abit confused with the usage of the public folder. How do I access to the public folder? What is the function of the public folder?

Every folder & sub folder needs a starting point. This is defined by a
an "index" page. Please insert an index page in your sub folder.

The same way you added an index to your public_html folder. Create (or rename) a page as index, and publish it to the subfolder, as in: public_html/subfolder_name_here.

I created this home page where I named as 'index'. It was successfully published.

Then I created a new page in BlueVoda and named the page as 'thankyou'. The purpose of this new page is to provide a webpage to activate the Auto Return for Website Payments provided by PayPal. I need to provide a return URL address.

So when I publish this new page, what should I type in the folder column? public_html...... ??

Then what's next?

Hang on a minute. Why did you publish a subfolder if all you needed was to add a "thank you" page? All you need do is publish the "thank you" page to your public_html directory. Get rid of the subfolder.

I followed your instruction & just published the "thank you" page to my public_html dircetory. What is the next step? How do I know the URL address of this "thank you" page?

Now I have another problem. I edited a minor change in my home page. But after I published it again, I can't see the changes at all. Please advise. Thanks!

The url to the new page is yoursite.com/thankyou.html.

You don't see the changes to your home page because your browser has cached the page for your convenience, and all you need do is clear your cache and everything will look fine. We did advise. Slow down and read the previous couple posts from ***** and me and follow the instructions to clear your browser's cache. You're on your way, my friend, good luck with your site.

Hi guys, I hit the 'F5' button many many times to un-clog. But it didn't work. So I installed Window Washer. Proceed the 'wash'. But nothing happen.

Then I open a fresh broswer window & hit 'F5' button many many times again. Still, all in vain.

HELP!!!

I got to leave the desk now. Will be back to solve the issue.
