  • No background color in include file

    I have a header which has a different background color that the page that the header is going to be "included" into. For some reason using

    <?php
    include("otherpage.php");
    ?>

    The elements show up but the background is white?

    Any suggestions

    Andy

    Hi Andy. Only an idea! but try making the background a small 1kb image for the other page. I was trying something similar a wile back & found the main pages instructions seem to override the part that was being imported.
    Worth a try.

      Just plain pure genius!!! That worked.

      Interesting how it overrode the bg properties.

      Thanks again Chris.

      Cheers,

        Re: No background color in include file

        Ah! thats good. If we cant do it one way we can always find a way around it. lol. I have noticed that BV's main page css overrides the background when using colour's But images seem to get a priority. Must be further up the css food chain.

        Good luck.
        Regards Chris.
