Entering Info In Table Cells

Inserting a table is easy enough, however; entering information on a cell by cell basis is not so intuitive. The only I've found to enter information in a table is by text insert boxes. This is clumsy and does not post well in the browser.

Am I missing something?

Double click in the cell area and it turns into a text entry box, which always stays within the cell boundry!
